  • The common principles of layout planning for alternative interchange were analyzed, and a bi-level planning model was proposed to describe the layout optimization of alternative interchange from the perspectives of transportation planners and users. The upper-level model was from the perspective of transportation planners, its target was system optimization by optimizing interchange layout, and it was solved by genetic algorithm. The lower-level model was from the perspective of users, the traveling characteristics of users were described, the rational routes of users were arranged by adopting stochastic user equilibrium model, and the lower-level model was solved by the method of successive averages.Case computation result shows that the optimal solution is solved in 19 iterations, the model has high efficiency, and is feasible.
