Abstract

Abstract

Through the analysis of the process of highway design and management, and combined with the research on Qinghai Tibet highway database, this paper promotes the constructing method of database for highway design and management.And this paper puts forward a Highway Computer Aided Engineering System (CAES) based on engineering database, and describes its functionality, structure and data management.The highway CAES, with the support of engineering database, provides a better way to solve the problems of information sharing and standardizing, system integration and opening.
