Frequency number error and support condition of flexible cable tension
CHEN Chang-song, CHEN Zheng-qing, YAN Dong-huang
Abstract: In order to study the test errors of cable tension due to natural frequency order and support condition, based on dynamical equilibrium of infinitesimal element, the formulas of natural frequency and cable tension were deduced under flexural rigidity. In terms of Ray-Leiy energy method, the influence of additional mass and elastic constrain on natural frequency was studied. The influence rule of test error due to test frequency order has the character of two times parabola. The natural frequency can decrease when added additional mass, and the influence of sensors mass may be neglected during test. The cable tension error due to elastic support has linear relation with the axial rigidity of support link, which is also related to natural frequency order. All this are instructive to cable tension measurement such as cable-stayed bridge, suspension bridge and other cable-stayed structures.More>

Extrapolation of probabilistic fatigue S-N curves on 16MnR steel weld joint
YANG Bing, ZHAO Yong-xiang, WU Ping-bo, CENG Jing
Abstract: This paper extended the commonly probabilistic curves of 16MnR steel weld joint into long life regime by 2m-1 exponent method according to the fatigue test data in different test conditions. The curves are constructed by Basquin relations, consisting of survival probability-based curves, confidence-based curves, and survival probability and confidence-based curves. These curves fit the test data well in original regime, can predict the long life regime approximately. The extrapolated effects, which fit into the test data of 16MnR steel weld joint, reveal that the method acts approximately as the function of extrapolation, and it is more reasonable than direct method, which extends original S-N curves into long life regime directly. The results show that the method is feasible.More>

XIA Zhang-gao
Abstract: In order to evaluate the handling of high-speed vehicle, taking the vehicle with a standard structure as its object of study, and using flexible multibody system dynamics method, this paper founded the subsystem models of steering, suspension, tire, body and the dynamics analysis model of automotive handling and stability based on ADAMS software platform. As to the flexible part in the models, the finite element analysis software, ANSYS, was used to process model analysis, and the ADAMS/Flex module was employed to amalgamate the module deformation into the kinematic and dynamics simulation. The major assessment target of steering wheel torque input was obtained by the simulation of steering wheel center location. The error of simulating data compared with the testing data is less then 10%. So in the vehicle design phase, the flexible multibody model can be used to predict the handling of high-speed vehicle, and substitute the sample test.More>

Abstract: In order to solve the contradiction of construction development with airfield clearance protection, this paper analyzed the influence of weather condition, navigation equipment, takeoff and landing path on the airfield clearance zone. According to the flight airline theory and those influencing factors, the component and the range of airfield clearance zone should be revised. When the diffusivity of terminal clearance zone is 15%, the breadth of terminal clearance zone should be extended from 2 km to 3 km, the clearance zone would be decreased to 50% and 60%. The air safety could be ensured, the construction development space could be expanded.More>
