Abstract

Abstract

The wearing debris analysis and the quantification characterization of its micrography are the two important elements which baffle the development and application of ferrography monitoring and diagnosis. Through the comprehensive research in depth, over 100 debris character parameters have been studied, based on the introduction of computer vision technique and the improvement of computer image process and analysis. By analyzing and filtering the present parameters, a complete set of debris quantification characterization comes into being.
