Abstract

Abstract

In the case of steel sliding against elastic metallic plastic (EMP) pad, the orientation process, drawing PTFE chains oriented along the sliding direction, are observed on the surfaces of EMP and steel with electron microscope.Combined with the structure characteristics of PTFE molecular, the orientation mechanism are studied.
