Analysis of Dynamic Characteristics of Independently Rotating Wheels

  • Compared with traditional wheelsets, independently rotating wheels have high critical speed and well curving performance on the ideal line without interfer, since independently rotating wheels have no logntitudinal creepage between wheel and rail.But in the application, just about that reason, independently rotating wheels produce flange contact because performance of running to the center decline in the straight track and can but depend on flange to guide in the curve. The application and development of independently rotating wheels are introduced.The problem awaited to be solved about independently rotating wheels are put forward by computer simulation.
