  • Through the analysis and study on the design object, this paper presents an object template and component template design method for highway design, it also presents the data sturcture for the cross section component template based on the highway cross section design. This method has been used in the development of the integrated highway CAD system. The application results show that the template design method has the characters of direct, simple and convenient.
