    Abstract
  • As an important component part of the national transportation, water transportation exerts a direct influence on the development of the national economy and China's entering the world economy.Water transportation infrastructure construction needs a great sum of money to invest.The lack of study on the application of some new methods of project finance results in the present situation of the unitary financing channel and the shortage of investment in water transportation infrastructure construction in China.Based on the technical economical characteristics of BOT, TOT and ABS, the possibilities and necessities to apply these project finance methods to water transportation infrastructure construction in China were studied.Some ideas about the measures to apply the project finance methods were put forward.
