Abstract

Abstract

From the view of air traffic controller, a definition of runway capacity was given, the factors that affect the capacity were analyzed. Arrival and departure capacity evaluation models were established, and the ways to calculate the runway capacity under various conditions were also provided. Based on the actual circumstance of Beijing Capital International Airport, an airport runway capacity evaluation system was developed. The simulation result proves the practicability of the evaluation model.
