Abstract

Abstract

Intercom is an important technique for expressway's management and toll control. This paper discussed the technique structure of expressway's toll, communication and surveillance system, developed a kind of intercom based on internet protocol. The intercom is consist of special interphone with serial interface, client software and server software. The practice shows that this intercom don't need to lay special transmission link, has a good performance to solve the difficult problems of long distance transmission and multicast.
