  • The aging of asphalt binder is an important factor to asphalt pavement service property. The paper applied short-term age to asphalt binder by using RTFO, then agthe residue various hours by using PAV, and studied the effects of aging on viscoelastic performance of asphalt binder by using bending beam rheometer and dynamic shear rheometer. The results indicate that the aging of asphalt binder decreases its viscous performance and enhances its elastic performance, so the resistance to deformation is enhanced while the anti-fatigue cracking capacity decreases.
