Confirming method of urban taxi quantity

This paper studied the relationship between urban taxi quantity, taxi unloaded ratio and its turnover quantity of citizen and floating population by the investigation of citizen, floating population trip character and taxi operation character, put forward a taxi quantity confirming method, the calculate parameters of this method were taxi unloaded ratio, effective driving mileage, average operation speed and average daily operation time. The results indicate that this method can calculate both today's and future demanded quantity of taxi, it is simple and convenient.
