  • Based on analysing the effect factors of tire critical speed for raising/avoiding critical speed, a mechanical model of tire was established based on some reasonable hypotheses and vibration theory, the relation between distortion resume time and effective mass was obtained. It is found that the critical speed is connected with load, inflation, radial distortion and surface abrasion, increasing inflation while maintaining load constant or inducing load while keeping inflation unchangeable can raise tire critical speed. The analysis results accord with the real situation of tire, which indicates that the model is feasible.
