Spreading machine disposing and paving methods of airport pavement asphalt

Based on the features of spreading machine and incorporating engineering experience, it was pointed out that the spreading machines should be chosen and disposed according to the length and thickness of asphalt covering, the horizontal grade of runway and the productive capacity of asphalt mix machine. This paper proposed the method of paving asphalt along the vertical section of runway without interrupting flights. The results show that the method can insure the engineering quality of airport pavement, satisfy the safe demands of asphalt covering without interrupting flights.
