  • For analyzing the dynamic properties of vehicle frame effectively in design, an area partition method based on boundary element method(BEM) was presented, the boundary equations of plate structure were established by using dynamic fundamental solutions of thin plate, the dynamic equations of vehicle frame were deduced. Computation result shows that the maximal relative error of BEM's values and experimental values for thin plate is 5.0%, the maximal error of FEM's values and BEM's values for vehicle frame is 5.9%.The dynamic characteristics of vehicle frame are analyzed fastly and efficiently, its modeling precision and calculation efficiency are improved greatly in design by BEM.
