  • In order to study the stability of mixed marshalling train with light vehicles and heavy vehicles, a dynamics model of mixed marshalling train was set up.Circular-variable method was utilized to resolve the difficult problem of train freedom degrees blast, blocking modelling method was utilized to resolve the difficult problem of mixed marshalling modelling, and the coupling relation among the longitudinal, lateral and vertical performances of train was considered. The model was utilized to analyze train stability under all kinds of mixed marshalling cases about light tank cars and heavy tank cars.It is pointed that the stability of light tank cars placed into the front and back of train is worse than that of light tank cars placed into the middle of train. So in order to increase the stability of mixed marshalling train, the light tank cars should be placed into the middle of train.
