Civil engineering and sustainable development in 21^th century

The 21 th century will be characterized by high technologies. The civil engineering will be pushed to develop at high speed by high technologies. The present situation and features of civil engineering in China were analyzed and reviewed, and the developing future of civil engineering in China was forcasted. Based on the idea of sustainable development, the key studies of civil engineering in 21 th century was discussed.
