  • In order to measure the gasoline vapor emission quality in refueling process, the experimental methods of gasoline evaporation loss were studied, and a collection equipment was designed.The basic components and working principle of the equipment were introduced.Under the condition that average temperature was 25 ℃ and RVP (Reid vapor pressure) was 62 kPa, three experiments were operated.The result shows that for the detection system with carbon canister but without ORVR (on-board refueling vapor recovery) , refueling emission reduces by 15.7%. However, while installing carbon canister and ORVR, refueling emission reduces by 93.9%.
