Abstract

Abstract

Information display system of engine room is implemented using NetDDE, ADO and ActiveX control technique of Visual Basic.Data of engine data collecting system are dircetly transmitted to the integrated information display system using NetDDE technique because of its rapid requirement on alarming display.The data processing and display of the whole system are carried out using ADO cooperated with corresponding control.ActiveX controls are made to simulate actual instruments for displaying all kinds of information, which reduces the work load of programming.The display of information is visual, reliable and easy to use, according with the demands of actual application of ships.
