    Abstract
  • The biodegradable engine oil must have a good lubrication mechanism and biodegradable performance. Rapeseed oil, which has a good biodegradable performance, was chosen as base oil, some additives were input to present an optimum formulation for 10W/40SG gosoline oil. According to uniform design method, a lot of experiments for comparing its antioxidizing and biodegradable performance to commercial oil were carried out. The results show that its quality can reach the standard demand, and its biodegradable performance is better than pretolatum-based engine engine oil.
