  • The finite element model for articulated underframe of railway freight car body is established. Computations of strength, stiffness, inherent frequencies and vibration mode shapes of two underframe structures are complemented. The comparision study of the rationalities of two articulated structures is undertaken, and suggestion for imporoving the design is given.
