Abstract

Abstract

This paper studied the evaluation of international dry bulk shipping market by factor analysis, its index system was developed. Through the comparison to baltic freight index, it was pointed that the evaluation result can reflect the main trend of international dry bulk shipping market. The result indicates that factor analysis is an effective measurement for evaluating international dry bulk shipping market.
