A Traffic Signal Control Method Based on Fuzzy Logic Controller at Urban Road Intersection

  • A traffic signal control method using fuzzy logic controller in urban road intersection is proposed.It is not needed to build the traffic flow model for signal control approach in the intersection using the method based on the fuzzy.However, this method can effectively solve the stochastic and unknown problems in this dynamic system. A GA of weighted coefficient is adopted to optimize the parameters of fuzzy logic controller.The experimental simulation results show that fuzzy logic controller can be successfully applied in traffic signal control for urban road intersection.
